What to know before you begin
Can I try Active Dictionary without signing up?
Yes. Open the public library, choose a material, and explore the workspace. You will need an account to create a project, save personal data, and use selected trainers.
What level is the product designed for?
The main workflow is designed for learners at B1 and above who benefit from authentic texts, videos, and documents
Which materials are supported?
Verified workflows include texts, video and YouTube with available captions, and PDF.
How is the AI tutor different from a general chat?
It sits beside the material and uses its current context, including supported text selections. You do not need to paste the source into every new conversation.
Are there limits for PDF?
Automatic OCR in the current version is designed for PDF files of up to 50 pages. The exact experience depends on the file structure and its text layer.
