What to know before you begin
Can I try Active Dictionary without signing up?
Yes. Open the public library and choose a material. You will need an account for your own project, saved results, and personal trainers.
What level is the product designed for?
It is mainly for people at B1 and above who already read and watch content in the language they are learning.
Which materials are supported?
You can work with texts, PDF files, and YouTube videos that have available captions.
How is the AI expert different from a general chat?
It works beside the open material and can use a selected passage as context. You do not need to paste the source into every new chat.
Are there limits for PDF?
Automatic OCR in the current version is designed for PDF files of up to 50 pages. The exact experience depends on the file structure and its text layer.
